Raschid Desai
Partner

Admitted to Roll: 1982

Trustee of Africa Educational Trust

 

Previously, Raschid worked in commerce & industry and banking for companies including Booker McConnell and Natwest Bank International Division. This commercial experience has proved invaluable in his dealings with clients over a range of matters, allowing him to produce practical solutions on behalf of his clients. Raschid also has a wealth of experience in Property matters, Dispute Resolution, Contract Law and Business Law.

Robin Lloyds

Admitted to Roll: 1973

Robin has worked in private practice dealing primarily with contentious business and also advises companies on their corporate issues. He has a strong following from international lawyers from his long experience of representing clients from extant and former Commonwealth countries as he conducts appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. In the last three years he has conducted over twenty such cases.

Kamran Balayev

Kamran has previously worked in the Ministry of Justice in Azerbaijan for 12 years, eventually becoming Acting Head and Vice-Rector for the State Justice Academy. It was whilst working there that he developed his passion for Human Rights Law. He is now the director of Attorneys Without Borders, which campaigns on Human Rights Issues. Kamran has an excellent knowledge of Post-Soviet and western SME markets, offering advice in these areas.

Tariq Desai
Solicitor

Education:

  • Graduate Diploma in Law, Distinction - BPP

  • Legal Practice Course, Distincition - BPP

 

 

Tariq joined the firm on a part-time basis in 2010 whilst studying for his Graduate Diploma in Law and then the Legal Practice Course achieving a distinction in both courses. Tariq then completed his training contract with the firm and was admitted to the Roll in May 2013 when he became a full time associate solicitor with the firm. Tariq specialises in Civil Litigation and Property Law.

Paul Petrov
Consultant

Paul trained with the firm and now acts as a consutlant. Originally from Bulgaria, he is fluent in English, Russian, Bulgarian and Greek. Prior to training as a solicitor he was a successful businessman. This allows Paul to draw on the wealth of business experience he has, allowing him to understand and realise your goals. He specialises in Property and Commercial law.
